Choosing a product category
Choose a product category from the automatic suggestions or the searchable list so buyers can find your goods; without one, the product is saved as a draft and is not visible yet.

The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
Open Produk dan Stok (Products and Stock) and click Tambah produk (Add product), or the three-dot menu > Ubah (Edit) on an existing product.
Type the product Nama (name), at least 3 letters. A few seconds later up to 3 Saran kategori (category suggestions) appear with the reason, e.g. "cocok: ziplock" (matches: ziplock).
Tap the right suggestion to choose it. If none fits, open the category list, type in the Cari kategori (search categories) box (e.g. cup, kardus, ziplock), and pick one.
If there is truly no matching category, click Usul kategori baru (propose a new category), write a specific name (not "Lainnya"/Other), then Kirim usulan (send). Up to 5 proposals per day; an admin decides and you are told by email or WhatsApp.
Finish the other fields and click Tambah produk. A product with a category shows right away; without one it is saved as a Draf (draft) and stays hidden until you choose a category.
Check products labelled Perlu kategori (needs category) or Draf: pilih kategori in the table: click Tampilkan yang perlu kategori (show those needing a category), open the three-dot menu > Ubah, and pick the category. A draft goes live automatically once saved.
Tips
- Suggestions are computed from the product name, so write a clear name, e.g. "Standing Pouch Silver 14x22", not just "Pouch". Size numbers are ignored. Common typos (e.g. ziplok, pauch) are still recognised.
- There is no "Lainnya" (Other) category: every item gets a specific category so it appears in the right buyer searches.
- The Satupack product category is different from your own Kategori toko (shop categories used to group your storefront); you can use both together.
Common questions
Why is my product not visible?
It is probably a Draf because it has no product category yet. Open the three-dot menu > Ubah, choose a category, and save.
My old product category disappeared from the choices?
The four old categories were archived and replaced with more specific ones. Existing products stay linked, but it is better to move them to a new category via Ubah.
