The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
When a new shop is first opened, a Set up your shop pop-up appears. Your shop can already sell; this guide is only a helper. Tap Later anytime: the pop-up hides for a day and a small progress bar stays at the top until 100%.
Seven weighted steps: Shop profile 15%, Bank account 15%, Chart of accounts 15%, Opening balances 15%, First product 20%, Shipping 10%, and Shop ready 10%. Steps whose data already exists turn green by themselves.
Chart of accounts: bookkeeping accounts are prepared automatically. Look them over then tap I have reviewed it; account names can be changed anytime.
Opening balances: enter the bookkeeping start date, cash, bank balance, receivables, vendor payables, and inventory. Cash and bank become capital cash-in; the rest is one balanced journal. Starting from zero? Leave blank and tap Start from zero. Opening balances can only be recorded once here.
First product and Shipping take you to the relevant menu; return to the guide through the progress bar when done.
When everything is green, tap Finish, shop ready. Shops already running before this feature are treated as finished and are not interrupted.
Tips
- Enter opening inventory only if stock is not yet entered on products, so it is not counted twice.
- Only the owner sees this guide.
Common questions
Can I change opening balances after saving?
Not through the guide. Change them via Finance > Journal or the Cash Book; closed months are locked.
