The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
Open Finance > Fixed Assets then Add asset: name, purchase date, price, useful life (months), and salvage value (may be 0). Suggestion buttons help: computers 48 months, machines 96 months, and so on.
Choose paid with: cash or bank (recorded automatically as a cash-out), payable, owner capital, or owned before using Satupack (enter months already used and accumulated depreciation so far).
The monthly depreciation estimate appears right in the form. Straight-line formula: (price - salvage value) divided by life; the last month absorbs the remainder so the total is exact.
Depreciation is posted automatically for months that are already past (also on Month-end Close, or tap Post depreciation). It flows into the Profit and Loss as Depreciation expense and into the Balance Sheet as a deduction from assets.
Three-dot menu > View depreciation schedule shows each month: posted, waiting, or scheduled, with the book value.
Asset broken or sold? Three-dot menu > Dispose asset, enter the date and reason. Depreciation stops and the remaining book value is written off as other expense; record sale proceeds in Finance as cash-in.
Tips
- Small single-use items need no asset record; record them as normal expenses.
- A cash purchase is not counted twice as an expense: the outflow is moved to assets by an automatic journal.
Common questions
Why has this month's depreciation not appeared?
Only past months are posted. The current month's depreciation appears after the month ends.
