The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
Open Finance > Journal. Tap New journal, enter the date and description, then choose an account and a Debit or Credit amount on each line. Total debit must equal total credit; the save button only enables when balanced.
Pick an account by typing its code or name. Only active accounts from your shop's Chart of Accounts appear, including accounts and sub-accounts you created. Cash, Bank, and Satupack Balance cannot be used in journals: record money in Finance so cash balances stay correct.
Accounts whose balance is computed automatically from transactions (receivables, inventory, vendor payables, capital, sales, COGS) are for correcting entries only: tick Correction and write a reason of at least 10 characters.
Journals are saved with a number like JU-month-sequence and cannot be edited or deleted. Entered wrongly? Select the journal and Void it with a reason; it stays on record as evidence and is no longer counted.
Open the Ledger tab, pick an account and period: opening balance, each journal, and closing balance appear. Download a CSV for your accountant; downloads are logged in the Activity Log.
The Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet include these journals immediately. Closed months are locked: journals dated in that month are rejected until the owner reopens it.
Tips
- Members with View finance can only view; recording and voiding journals needs Manage finance (or the owner).
- Attach a photo of the receipt to the journal so it is easy to check later.
Common questions
Why is my journal rejected as unbalanced?
Debit and credit totals must match exactly. Check each line; the difference is shown below the table.
Can I record money in or out here?
Not for Cash, Bank, or Satupack Balance. Record money in the Finance menu; this journal is for corrections and non-cash items such as unpaid expenses.
