The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
Open Finance > Month-end Close. The month list shows which are closed, with each month's summary: net sales, gross profit, total expenses, and net profit.
Pick a past month and tap Close books. Check the summary first; earlier months that are not yet closed are closed in order. Fixed-asset depreciation for that month is posted automatically first.
Once closed, cash entries, journals, Goods Receipts, and receipt cancellations dated in that month are rejected with Period already closed. Record corrections in the current month.
Wrong figure in a closed month? The owner taps Reopen on the latest closed month and writes a reason of at least 10 characters. Months can only be reopened backwards, newest first.
Every close and reopen is recorded permanently with who and when, so it is safe to show an accountant or auditor.
Tips
- Members with Manage finance may close the books, but only the owner can reopen them.
- Close the books after the bank reconciliation and Cash Close of that month are done.
Common questions
Can the current month be closed?
No, only past months. This prevents locking too early while transactions are still coming in.
Do sales in a closed month still show in reports?
Yes, all reports still show them. Only new entries or cancellations in that month are locked.
