The Seller Center and the apps are shown in Indonesian. Menu and button names in bold are the exact labels you will see, with the English meaning in brackets where it helps.
Steps
Open Seller Center > Products and Stock, then Add product or the three dots > Edit on the product.
Choose the Selling unit, the unit used for price and stock (e.g. Bundle).
Tap Set contents. Add a Larger unit (e.g. carton, holds 10 bundles) and/or a Smaller unit (e.g. pack, 1 bundle holds 5 packs). Up to 5 levels; contents must be whole numbers.
Enter the Weight of the smallest unit in grams (optional), e.g. 500 for one 500 g pack.
Check the preview sentence, e.g. *Sold per bundle. 1 carton contains 10 bundle; 1 bundle contains 5 pack; 1 pack 500 g*, then save. Buyers see the contents on the card and product page.
Want to change the contents or other unit names? Open Edit again anytime. Stock and history do not change: stock and price stay per selling unit; only the converted display follows.
Tips
- The selling unit cannot be changed once the product has stock or sales history, because price and stock are counted per selling unit. Create a new product if you need another selling unit.
- Existing products keep working: their unit is read as a single level without contents. Add contents only when needed.
- All variants of one product share the same unit chain.
Common questions
What is my stock counted in?
In the selling unit. With selling unit Bundle and 1 carton = 10 bundles, a stock of 12 shows as 12 bundles (1 carton 2 bundles).
What is the difference between selling unit and smallest unit?
The selling unit is used for price and stock. The smallest unit is only a note on contents and weight.
