Marking your address location (pin)
How to place an accurate pin on the Google map for your address: search, use my location, or move the pin, so the courier finds you and shipping is priced by real distance.

Steps
Open Account > Addresses and click Add a new address (or Edit). At Checkout click Add address or Edit: it is the same form and opens without leaving checkout.
In Location on the map (pin), type an address or place name in Search for an address or place and pick the matching result. The pin jumps there.
Or click Use my location while you are in front of your home. Allow location access in your browser. Satupack shows the accuracy; if it is rough (over 100 m), move the pin to be more exact.
Tap the map to drop the pin, then move the map until the pin tip is right at your door. Zoom in if needed. With a keyboard, the arrow keys move the map.
Read Address according to the map under the map and make sure it matches. Empty street, city, and postal code fields fill in from the pin; what you typed is never overwritten.
Fill in Landmark (for example green fence near the mosque) and Note for the courier (for example call first). The courier and the seller of your order can see both.
Click Save address. An address without a pin cannot be used to order.
Tips
- If you see the pin is about N km from the area you selected, check the pin or your city choice again. The warning does not block you, because an address at the edge of a city can be far from its centre.
- Map not showing? You can still use Use my location or open Enter coordinates or a Google Maps link and type coordinates such as -5.4, 105.27.
- Only the search text and coordinates are sent to Google. The recipient's name and phone number are never sent.
- The address location is visible only to you, the seller of that order, and the courier who accepted the delivery.
Common questions
Why is the pin required?
Shop-courier shipping is priced from the distance between the pin and the shop, and the courier uses the pin to open the route in Google Maps or Waze. Without a pin the risk of a wrong address is much higher.
My pin is in the wrong place after using my location.
GPS indoors can be off by tens of metres. Move the map until the pin is at your door, or search for your address and pick the result.
