Cashier: PIN, screen lock, switching cashier, and closing a shift
Sign in to the cashier with a 4-digit PIN, lock the screen when you step away, switch cashier on the same device, and close a shift by counting the drawer.

Steps
Open the menu at the top right of the cashier (Menu or Menu lainnya). It has Kunci layar / ganti kasir (lock screen / switch cashier), Tutup shift (close shift), and PIN kasir saya (my cashier PIN).
PIN kasir saya: set your own 4-digit PIN. Easy PINs (1234, 0000) are refused. Receipts you make are recorded under the cashier whose PIN is used. Forgot it? Ask the owner to open User Access, the Pengguna (users) tab, then Reset PIN.
A PIN set by the owner is temporary: when first used, the cashier must create a new PIN twice. PINs must also be changed regularly (default 3 months; the owner changes this in User Access > Keamanan toko).
Screen lock: the screen locks automatically after idle time (default 10 minutes), or press Kunci layar / ganti kasir. Enter the PIN to unlock. After 5 wrong PINs the screen locks for 15 minutes. A cashier session lasts 12 hours.
Switching cashier on the same device: the next cashier just enters their PIN on the lock screen. Discount, cancel, and refund rights follow the active cashier.
Tutup shift (for accounts with the Kasir menu): count the cash in the drawer, fill in Tunai di laci (cash in drawer), add a Catatan (note) if there is a difference, then press Tutup shift. The system compares it with your cash sales since the last shift today, then the screen locks.
A difference needs a note. If it is above the threshold (default Rp50,000), the shop owner is notified. The owner sees the report in Ringkasan > Pengawasan kasir.
Tips
- In the phone app it works the same way: screen lock, switching cashier, closing a shift, and the PIN are on the Kasir screen.
- The PIN is different from the account password and is stored encrypted; do not share it. The owner cannot see a PIN, only reset it.
- The owner changes the lock time, the shift difference threshold, and the PIN validity in User Access > Keamanan toko.
Common questions
A cashier forgot the PIN. Can the owner see it?
No. The owner can only reset it with Reset PIN. The new PIN is temporary and must be changed when the cashier uses it.
